What to look for in a gimbal
- check_circle Phone fit and weight — check the gimbal's payload covers your phone with its case on, especially for larger Pro Max-sized handsets.
- check_circle 3-axis stabilisation — 3-axis is what removes walking shake; simpler handheld grips only steady one or two axes.
- check_circle Tracking & app — subject tracking, gesture control and the quality of the companion app are what you actually use day to day.
- check_circle Battery & folding — a folding design that fits a bag matters more than headline battery hours if you film on the move.
- check_circle Extras — a built-in extension rod, fill light or tripod base saves buying separates later.
How we ranked these gimbals
This isn't a paid list. We start with every gimbals actually in stock at DreamTek, then rank them on the things that matter once your money's down: whether it's available right now, the length and provider of the warranty, the real feature set (not just spec-sheet numbers), the current discount off RRP, and live LKR price. Picks and prices are refreshed from our catalogue — last updated October 2026 — so what you read here is what you can buy today. If something sells out, it drops down the list.
