What to look for in a laptop bag
- check_circle Measure the laptop, don't trust the label — a bag rated "15.6-inch" is cut for a typical 15.6-inch chassis, and thicker gaming laptops often won't close. Check the internal dimensions against your machine.
- check_circle A sleeve is protection, a bag is transport — a sleeve guards against scuffs inside another bag; a backpack or handbag carries the charger, cables and everything else too.
- check_circle Corner padding is what counts — most damage happens when a bag is set down hard. Padding that wraps the corners and a base that lifts the laptop off the ground do more than overall thickness.
- check_circle Weatherproofing matters in a monsoon — a water-resistant outer and covered zips are the difference between damp and drenched on a wet commute.
- check_circle Check the strap and back panel if you carry it daily — a padded, breathable back panel and a sternum strap change how a loaded bag feels after twenty minutes.

We start with every laptop backpacks actually in stock at DreamTek, then rank them on the things that matter once your money's down: whether it's available right now, the length and provider of the warranty, the real feature set (not just spec-sheet numbers), the current discount off RRP, and live LKR price.
