Why "does it fit?" is the hard part

Chargers, cables and power banks are universal — any of them will work with almost any phone, and the only questions are the connector on the end and how many watts it carries. Protective accessories are the opposite: a case or tempered glass cut for one model won't sit right on another, because the camera cut-out and the curve of the glass are model-specific.

That's why this tool splits the answer in two. Model-specific accessories are matched to the exact phone you pick. Charging gear is recommended by connector and wattage, which is what actually determines whether it works for you.

Working out your connector

  • iPhone 15, 16, 17 and newer — USB-C.
  • iPhone 5 through iPhone 14 — Lightning.
  • Android — check the port. USB-C is a small rounded oval and goes in either way up. Micro USB is a narrower trapezoid, wider at the top, and only fits one way. Most phones since about 2017 are USB-C; budget models held onto Micro USB for longer.

Once you know the connector, USB-C cables explained covers why two cables with the same plug can charge at very different speeds, and what wattage charger do I need explains why a bigger number doesn't always mean a faster charge.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which charging cable fits my phone? expand_more

It comes down to the port. iPhone 15 and newer use USB-C, while iPhone 14 and older use Lightning — this tool states that outright for any iPhone. Android phones vary by model and year, so rather than guess, the tool shows you how to identify your port: USB-C is a small oval that plugs in either way up, while Micro USB is a narrower trapezoid that only fits one way.

Why doesn't the tool tell me my Android phone's cable type? expand_more

Because we would have to guess. Determining USB-C versus Micro USB for every Android model needs a per-model spec database we don't have, and a confident wrong answer means you buy a cable that doesn't fit. Checking the port on your own phone takes five seconds and is always right.

What wattage charger should I get? expand_more

A 20W USB Power Delivery charger fast-charges most phones and is the sensible default. Going higher won't speed up a phone that caps below it — a 65W charger is worth it only if you also want to charge a laptop or tablet from the same brick. Our guide on charger wattage explains it in full.

Does this show every accessory for my phone? expand_more

It shows every in-stock accessory whose product listing names your exact model. Protective accessories like cases, tempered glass and lens protectors are model-specific, so they only appear if we carry that model. Chargers, cables and power banks are universal, so those are recommended separately by connector type rather than by model.

My phone isn't listed — can I still order? expand_more

Yes. Chargers, cables and power banks work across phones, so the charging section applies regardless. If you want a case or screen protector for a model we don't list, place an order for anything else and note the model — we call every order back and will tell you honestly whether we can source it.
